Oregon Coast Development

Twelve new 2,000 sf homes are to be built on a five acre site in Oregon, adjacent to the Siuslaw River and the Pacific Coast Highway, approximately a quarter of a mile from the Pacific Ocean. The contour of the river’s edge guides the organization and layout of the homes, while the sloped site offers stunning panoramas of the Siuslaw River, the Pacific Coast Highway Bridge and the town of Florence beyond. Glazing on the northern facade of the homes offer vistas of the landscape and welcome the northern light, while the eastern and western facades are solidly grounded to the earth. The homes are nestled on the site in a staggered pattern to capture views framed between the buildings, and offer privacy while being part of an intimate group.
